DUI on Listerine

This one is a funny story on CNN. A women in Michigan rear ended another car in a stoplight and the officer at the scene doubted that women was intoxicated and asked her to take breath test and she failed the breath analyzer test and arrested for DUI.

The woman denied taking any alcoholic drink but told the officer that she consumed 3 glasses of Listerine mouth wash. Guess what the average alcohol content percentage in beers and malt liquors in US is between 3 and 8 percent but the listerine mouthwash brand contains between 21.6 and 26.9 percent. So now you know why she failed the breath analyzer test :))

So the Listerine users who are non-alcoholic are daily consumers of alcohol if they intake a gulp of listerine while gargling in the morning. The other thing this drinkers smell better than the other drinkers. So beware when somebody smells like Listerine.

KADHAL - Tamil Movie

Usually I'm not a big fan of seeing movies other than Rajini Movies.You know he is special.Recently My friend called me up and said watch this movie called "Kadhal" and he said they taken very nicely about the mansion life in chennai. As a Manison dweller in chennai for 2 years I got intrested and watched the movie.

The screenplay was good dialogues and acting of the guy and gal in the lead role is great. Then comes the twist in the last 10 minutes. It's unbearable to watch. You guys have to watch that to understand.

The scenes are taken with artistic touch with nativity and reality. Most of the scenes happening in the happier times of the movie you will be able to relate it to something you saw, heard or happened in your life.

All said this movie is lesson for the people who involved in love and the parents and relatives who take pride in their caste and money. I'm pretty much sure this movie would have created "gili" or "bayam" in the minds of lovers and their parents and make them think twice before they do something stupid. If they does that is the success for this movie and the director.

If you ask me do I watch this movie again probably yes without that last 10 minutes anyway that's me.

English word for Tamil Word "Thodu sugam"

I tried to figure out the equivalent word for tamil word "Thodu sugam" in english. After lot of googling and searching i couldn't find any equivalent word . So I asked my colleagues if they know what is the equivalent word for "Thodu sugam" in english.
One of my colleague who is in late 40's told me that "Tamil language is a good language for each and every feelings and relationship they have separate words not like english where u'r chittapa also uncle, periyappa also uncle and uncle also uncle".So he said "intha tamil vaarthaiku nee english vaarthai kandu pudicha mathiri thannu".
Eventhough he told it as a joke, the truth in that statement is not a joke. This reasserts that tamil is one of the language rich in words. summava sonnanga "kal thondri man thondra kaalathe mun thondriya tamizhnu"

Yes It is Kaliyugam

Recent news quoted in Thatstamil.com reveals that there are people who are without kindness in heart still lives in the world. The news states the morgue incharges in chennai hospital, where the tsunami victims bodies are kept are demanding money from the relatives to release the bodies. This is too terrible. Already those people lost the loved ones and don't know what's in store for them in future still these people harass them by asking money to release the bodies. The news goes on to state that one guy who is demanding money told that usually they will ask Rs. 500 now they only asking Rs. 300. Like he is giving some discount.This guy should be shot to dead immediately given the circumstance.

The other news in the same site states that The December month carnatic music season is going on in full swing amidst this disaster. They don't even cancel any of the performance atleast for a day in the wake of this disaster. What a bummer. May be I think they are conducting those performances non-stop to please the nature gods so that they won't attack us again.
